Cell Phone Jammer Used in Classes

Here is a news causing dispute about cell phone jammer used in class:

A teacher,named Dean Liptak,works at Fivay High Scholl of Florida.He was accepted a punishment of suspending without pay on for five days,due to he used a cell phone jammer to block cell phone signal in class.As a former wrestler turned science teacher,Dean Liptak is in the trouble that students use their cell phones during classes.So Liptak took matters into his own hands by secretly taking the cell phone jammer to school and activating it in his classroom from March 31 to April 2.

Liptak just want to fix the cell phone problem,cell phone jammer in the most direct way after failing in trying so much ideas.He thought jammers were permitted in classroom,in fact ,there is not any regulation to prohibit jammers in class using.

There are two opposite voice for cell phone jammer used in class ,one say “Yes”,another say “No”.

As local Superintendent Kurt Browning said to Liptak ,”Not only did your actions potentially violate federal law ,you posed a serious risk to critical safety communication as well as the possibility of preventing others from making 9-1-1 calls.”Obviously ,Kurt says “No” to jammers.

Some teachers and parents are agree with Liptak ,because it is really difficult to get students to focus on their school works.How to make every students keep far away from their cell phones unless none of them have no the equipment.

Is there any good idea to fix the problem ,both can use cell phone jammer and call 9-1-1? Such as ,there is a public phone in classroom for calling 9-1-1 in urgency ,it can work when the cell phone jammer was working.To legalize the measure is better than teachers order again and again in classes.That is the way of high technology (cell phones) PK another high technology (jammers),just so easy.
